Our History

Respiratory & Critical Care Associates (RCC) was established in January 2003 by colleagues J.David Cowden, MD and Darrell R. Dennis, MD (in memoriam).

Proudly continuing our tradition of excellence in healthcare, Dana Fowler, ARNP and Katie Kavanaugh, ACNP both joined RCC in 2005 as highly-skilled specialty nurse practitioners.

Today, working in an academic model of health care, "RCC Associates" provides superior, complex diagnostic and treatment strategies to the people of Eastern Iowa and surrounding regions.
